Experts react over Lakhvi's detention suspended by Pak Court

New Delhi, Dec 29 (ANI): Security Experts on Monday reacted over suspension of Zaki ur Rehman Lakhvi's detention by Islamabad Court. Alok Bansal said that Pakistan has failed to show that it is against terror. Praful Bakshi said that it was a ruling given by the Court so it cannot be questioned but added that the Indian government needs to take all precautionary measures in context of terror activities. SR Sinho said that Pakistan will suffer greatly due to its increasing support to militant groups as the country will not be able to handle them within its boundaries. Dec 29, 2014

Reactions pour in after IIT-Delhi Director resigns alleging pressure from the government

New Delhi, Dec 28 (ANI): Reactions poured in on Sunday after Director of the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IITD) Raghunath K. Shevgaonkar resigned two years before the completion of his term. According to the media reports, the resignation came due to tremendous pressure from the ministry, which wanted to lend IIT ground to cricketer Sachin Tendulkar for opening a cricket academy. IIT Alumni Association Secretary CK Jain said that it is very unfortunate that government is trying to take IIT under it. IIT Alumni Association former President Subodh Jindal requested the government to take the director’s resignation back. Sachin Tendulkar and foreign ambassadors denounce Pak school attack

New Delhi/Mumbai/ Kolkata, Dec 18 (ANI): Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar condemned the Taliban bloodshed on schoolchildren, which killed at least 132 students and nine staff members in Pakistan. Tendulkar said that his heart melted by the horrifying news like any other human being. Meanwhile, French envoy to India, Francois Richier, vowed to fight against militant outfits using all kinds of weaponry. German envoy to India, Michael Steiner, echoed a similar sentiment while appreciating world wide condemnation of the gruesome bloodshed.
