New Delhi, June 11 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 109.80 points down to stand at 25,473.89. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 29.55 points down to stand at 7,626.85. Britannia Industries and Suzlon Energy were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 10.57% and 4.93% along with Havells India and Amara Raja with an increase of 4.25% and 4.09% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include TTK Prestige and HDIL with a decrease of 9.44% and 9.21% along with Future Retail and Unitech with a decrease of 8.25% and 7.00% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is down 71.48 points at 15,365.39 while the banking sector is down 45.73 points at 17,635.9 and the realty sector is down 94.65 points at 94.65. New Delhi, June 7 (ANI): A Malaysian woman has alleged to have been raped by a man she met on an official trip to India. According to reports, the woman has told the police that the man took her to an isolated place where he gave her a spiked drink and allegedly raped her. One man has been detained. The accused, however, denied the allegations and said that the woman had planned everything in advance. Politicians condemn abduction of Indian worker in Afghanistan, press for speedy release

Chennai, June 07 (ANI): Political fraternity condemned the abduction of an Indian aid worker in Afghanistan, and pressed the government to expedite action for his safe release. Cutting across party lines, the leaders from various political parties urged the government to speed up the process for the release of priest Alexis Prem Kumar, who was kidnapped in Herat province of Afghanistan, earlier this month. Leaders made personal appeal to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to talk tough with Afghanistan government and press for safe release of the abducted priest. Meanwhile, CPI leader D Raja said that the abduction was human rights violations and the central government should work towards the release of the priest at the earliest.
