US military's Twitter and YouTube account hacked by ISIS

New Delhi, Jan 13 (ANI): The Twitter and YouTube accounts for the US military command that oversees operations in the Middle East were hacked by people claiming to be sympathetic toward the Islamic State militant group. In an apparent propaganda coup, the hackers replaced CentCom's usual logo with the image of a hooded fighter and the words "CyberCaliphate" and "I love you ISIS. American soldiers, we are coming, watch your back, ISIS," the hackers posted on the US Central Command Twitter feed. "In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, the CyberCaliphate continues its CyberJihad," the Centcom Twitter feed further said. Subsequent posts on the Centcom twitter account read, "Pentagon Networks Hacked! China Scenarios" and "Pentagon Networks Hacked.Korean Scenarios." Jan 13, 2015

Petition filed in India against US firm for using Mahatma Gandhi's image on beer cans

Hyderabad/ New Delhi, Jan 04 (ANI): A lawyer in Hyderabad city of Andhra Pradesh filed a petition on Sunday against a US liquor company for using iconic freedom fighter Mahatma Gandhi's picture on beer cans. New England Brewing Company came out with beer cans named 'Gandhi-Bot' claiming that their intention was to pay homage to Gandhi. He also said that using Gandhi's image on the beer cans is punishable under Indian laws. Matt Westfall, head brewer and partner at the New England Brewing Company, has apologised on behalf of the company through mail. Meanwhile, CPI leader D Raja said the American company should understand the sentiments of people. CPI leader Atul Anjan also slammed the foreign company for the same and said that India would oppose this if US President Barack Obama does not take cognizance of the matter. Jan 4, 2015
