Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar says Rohtak girls harassment case will be probed

New Delhi, Dec 05 (ANI): Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that the alleged eve-teasing case on a moving bus with two sisters must be investigated. On November 30, police had arrested three men - Kuldeep Singh, Mohit and Deepak - after the two sisters had claimed they were harassed by the men even before they boarded the bus. To reward the girls for their bravery, the state government had announced the two to be honoured on the Republic Day function next year in January.But the state authorities have now decided to put the bravery award for sisters on hold after another similar video went viral showing the girls beating another alleged eve-teaser. Haryana Govt to honour two sisters for taking on molesters inside moving bus in Rohtak

Chandigarh, Dec 01 (ANI): Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Monday said that his government will honour the two sisters who took on three alleged molesters inside a moving bus in Rohtak. He said the girls will be honoured and would get cash awards on Republic Day for their bravery. He also said that effective steps will be taken to ensure the security of women passengers. The state government has asked the Director General of Police (DGP) and the state transport department to take steps for ensuring safety and security of passengers, especially women travelling in the Haryana Roadways buses.
