Narendra Modi leaves Berlin to attend BRICS summit at Brazil

Berlin, July 14 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday left for Brazil to attend the five nations BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) summit after a brief halt in Berlin. Modi was welcomed by Indian Ambassador to Germany, Vijay Gokhale, and other dignitaries upon his arrival in the country on Sunday. The sixth BRICS summit will be held in Fortaleza and Brasilia on July 15 and July 16. It will be Modi's first multilateral meeting after assuming office. India would endorse the need for U.N. Security Council reform at the BRICS summit.
