Kolkata HC stays CBI investigation order in Parui murder case

Kolkata, Sep 26 (ANI): A division bench of Kolkata High Court stayed the single bench order which directed the CBI to investigate the Parui murder case. CBI investigation in the murder case was stayed till the next date of hearing i.e. Monday. Government lawyer Kalyan Banerjee addressing the media said that the case has been listed for next hearing on Monday. He added that the charge sheet has been filed and the magistrate has taken a cognizance of the charge sheet. Sep 26, 2014

Simbu receives best singer award in SIIMA 2014

The two-day South Indian International Movie Awards event kicked off on a grand note on Friday at Kuala Lampur, Malaysia. A long list of celebrities attended day 1 of the awards ceremony. The event something really different whenTamil actor Simbhu bagged the award for the Best Male Singer. The award was for his song Diamond Girl from the NTR Jr starrer film Baadshah. The actor singer won the maximum votes against Shankar Mahadevan who was nominated for his song from Attarintiki Daredi. Simbu thanked Juniour NTR and Thaman for making it happen.
