Govt bond yield spike temporary: P Chidambaram

Mumbai, Nov 19 (ANI): Finance Minister P Chidambaram on Tuesday said that the a recent spike in government bond yield is temporary and that the central bank could take some steps to bring the yields down should food inflation moderate. Bond yields have risen since the Reserve Bank of India raised interest rates for a second consecutive month on October 29.
