Kochi, Sept 21 (ANI): Tourists thronged the eighth edition of tourism mart, in Kochi city of Kerala. The fest is organised once in every two years in a bid to bring new business prospects and initiatives to the state. The Kerala Travel Mart Society hosted this mega event in partnership with the government to bring together the business entrepreneurs behind tourism products and services of Kerala on a single platform. It is perhaps the largest gathering in the tourism Industry of Kerala that facilitates the meeting and interaction of Buyers, Sellers and the Media. Tour Operators, Hotels, Resorts, Home stays, Houseboats, Ayurveda Resorts, cultural art centres and many others showcased their products and services at the fest. Ever since its inception, there has been an overwhelming response from national and international buyers, which has reflected in the steady escalation of the variety of products and in the number of participants. New Delhi, Sep 16 (ANI): Former CAG Vinod Rai on Tuesday said that any action can’t be taken against Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh over the 2G scam and that the main involvement was of Former Telecom Minister A Raja. Communication facilities being restored in flood-hit JandK: RS Prasad

New Delhi, Sep 13 (ANI): Telecom Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on Saturday while addressing mediapersons in New Delhi said that efforts are being made to restore communication facilities in flood-hit areas of JandK. He further said that BSNL has allowed people in the valley to talk for a week without any charges and the private companies have given 60mins/day free talktime to the people of JandK. PM Modi holds meet to review infrastructure sector progress

New Delhi, Sep 12 (ANI): Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, on Friday reviewed progress of eight major infrastructure sectors in the country. The sectors included Civil Aviation, Ports and Inland Waterways, Railways, Roads, Telecom, Power, Coal, and New and Renewable Energy. The meet was a part of the regular series of reviews on infrastructure, which the prime minister takes every month. Modi stated that accelerated infrastructure development was his top priority, and also stressed the need for creating world-class infrastructure in India. The Prime Minister said initiatives undertaken by state governments as well as Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) with other countries, including SAARC countries, should also be taken into account while monitoring the progress of infrastructure sectors.
