Sightings of killer clowns have been on the rise in the UK, after the apparent social media phenomenon started in the US. There have been reports of attacks, schools being shut down and even arrests as more and more people are dressing up. Selenium: UKs first self-driving vehicle tested in a public space

18 months of development by the low carbon LUTZ Pathfinder Project has resulted in the UKs first self driving vehicle being tested in a public place, as Selenium drives around Milton Keynes. Using specialised software from Oxford University’s Oxford Robotics Institute, Selenium uses data from cameras and laser light measuring, called LIDAR, to navigate down roads and avoid hazards. Police video shows mobile phone thief being captured in London

London Police have released footage of a mobile phone thief being arrested. Cavell Hutson, aged 21, was captured after stealing 21 mobile phones on his scooter.He stole the phones in Islington and Camden on 3 September and was arrested later that day after driving through Kingsland market, Hackney.A police helicopter filmed the daring escape and the footage shows people jumping out of the way of the scooter to avoid being run over.
