The shrine of Hazrat Mir Syed Ali Hamdani in Srinagar attracts people from different communities. Legend has it that the saint was a mystic who devoted his entire life for the betterment of mankind and preached communal harmony. His message has been internalised and is visible in the form of devotees from different faiths that come here from near and far throughout the year to pay homage to the saint.
