India says committed to Vienna convention, seeks same from the US

New Delhi/ Mumbai, Dec 18 (ANI): India on Wednesday said that it is committed to the Vienna convention that shields the diplomats while seeking its implementation from the US side as well in the diplomatic spat that threatens to strain otherwise warm ties between the two nations. Spokesperson of Indian Foreign Ministry, Syed Akbaruddin, said India was committed to follow the rules laid down by the Vienna Convention and expected the same from other countries.
