BSE closes points 98.84 up on Nov 12

New Delhi, Nov 12 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 98.84 points up to stand at 28,008.90. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 20.65 points up to stand at 8,383.30. BAYER CROPSCIENCE LTD. and AIA ENGINEERING LTD were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 10.35% and 7.61% along with MAHINDRA & MAHINDRA FINANCIAL SERVICES and ASHOK LEYLAND LTD with an increase of 7.57% and 7.37% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include HCC and CADILA HEALTHCARE LTD with a decrease of 4.49% and 4.26% along with IOC and IL&FS Transportation Networks Ltd. with a decrease of 4.00% and 3.87% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is up 217.16 points at 18,617.56 while the banking sector is up 223.20 points at 20,117.78 and the reality sector is down 2.52 points at 1,654.92. Arun Jaitley stresses on need for meaningful employment at second edition of Services Conclave

New Delhi, Nov 12 (ANI): Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Wednesday (November 12) stressed on the need for creation of jobs in the services and manufacturing sector in order to provide meaningful employment to the under-employed population. Jaitley was speaking at the second edition of Services Conclave in New Delhi. He also laid emphasis on services sector exports to compensate for the deficit in the merchandise exports. Commerce and Industry Minister Nirmala Sitharaman was also present at the event. Citing India's global expertise in the field of Information Technology (IT), Jaitley said this success had to be replicated in some other sectors too.
