Hyderabad, May 03 (ANI): After Prasar Bharati CEO Jawhar Sircar claimed that 'the shadow of government' hurts the credibility, BJP leader M Venkaiah Naidu said that Prasar Bharti is given political instruction to black out Narendra Modi and focus on Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi. He said that all channels should and needs to follow certain norms. Naidu also questioned on the 'selective censorship' and 'scissoring' of the news in the public organization. He also said that all the actions of Congress will 'boomerang' back on them. Earlier, Sircar acknowledged that certain portions of Modi's interview "were apparently edited" while indirectly pointing at IandB minister Manish Tewari for failing to give the public broadcaster the autonomy it has sought. New Delhi, Apr 13 (ANI): BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Sunday supported his party colleague Uma Bharati's views on Robert Vadra, and said that the Congress party has many corruption scandals hidden underneath which are like skeletons and could resurface if one digs deep into it. Arunachal pays homage to 1962 war heroes

Itanagar, Dec 4 (ANI): At least 100 veterans and families of martyrs of the 1962 Chinese aggression were honoured at a three-day event organized by the Sanskar Bharati Purbottar in Itanagar. Chief Minister Nabam Tuki attended the valedictory function and felicitated family members of the martyrs along with Governor Lieutenant General (Retired) Nirbhay Sharma. The leaders praised the services rendered by Indian soldiers along the international borders. Tuki also announced the setting up of a new war memorial at Itanagar in memory of soldiers who had died in the 1962 war. The event was attended by 1962 war veteran Lt. Gen (Retd) V.M Patil, actor Mukesh Khanna and several renowned artists from across the country. Participants from the northeastern states also presented various colorful cultural programmes.
