Razak on Friday said Malaysia had not been able to verify what caused the Boeing 777-200 to crash while on a flight from Amsterdam to the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, but it had not made a distress call. But he said he had agreed in talks with US President Barack Obama that investigators must get full access to the site of the crash. Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott said on Friday that _Russian-backed rebels_ were apparently behind the shooting down of a Malaysia Airlines passenger jetliner. Ukraine_s state security chief has accused Russian military intelligence officers of involvement with pro-Russian rebels in the downing of the airliner on Thursday, but Western leaders have until now been less quick to assign blame.
