Gopinath Munde died of cervical spine fracture and multiple tears in liver: Harsh Vardhan

New Delhi, June 03 (ANI): Based on post-mortem report of Late Gopinath Munde, Health Minister Harshvardhan said Munde had died because of cervical spine fracture and injuries in liver on Tuesday following a car accident. He said that the fracture of his cervical spine C1 and C2 cut off blood supply to his brain stem, which led to failures of his respiratory and cardiac centres. Vardhan added that there were also two to three tears in his liver, which led to collection of one-and-a-half to two litres of blood in his abdomen. Jun 3, 2014
