He said that there is tremendous interest coming to India and that nations are coming forward to work with us. The prime minister said that all will have to change the way of approaching problems and see things in different way. He also assured that Indian government is not making mere promises and announcements but are working for its fulfillment. New Delhi, Jan 11 (ANI): Political leaders reacted on Sunday as Vibrant Gujarat Summit-2015 is being held in Gandhinagar. Minister of State in Parliamentary Affairs Mukkhtar Abbas Naqvi said that Narendra Modi's government has promoted Make in India concept through Vibrant Gujarat summit to enhance trade and business in the country. BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain said that any other state can also conduct its own summit to promote business. Meanwhile, Congress leader PC Chacko said that PM Modi always turns to Gujarat as if it is the country’s capital. Congress calls for shutdown in Gujarat against 'Vibrant Gujarat Summit'

Ahmedabad, Jan 10 (ANI): Congress party has called for a shutdown on Saturday in Gujarat protesting against the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party's proposed "Vibrant Gujarat Summit" beginning Sunday. Congress activists have been holding protests at important government installations across the state. Dozens of Congress activists held a protest outside the Income Tax department in Ahmedabad city before they were detained by police. A Congress activist Ketan Rawal said the government was holding the summit to attract investments in the state at a time when it had failed to tackle important issues. The summit, which is an annual event, was the brainchild of Narendra Modi when he ruled the state before becoming prime minister last year.
