New Delhi/ Mumbai/ Lucknow, Nov 02 (ANI): Political leaders on Sunday condemned businessman Robert Vadra's misbehaviour with media where he attacked a reporter after being asked about his land deals in Haryana. BJP leader Kirit Somaiya said that Vadra had received benefits during Congress government in Haryana and now as he is at the verge of being exposed he is misbehaving. BJP leader Subramanian Swamy said that the government should immediately act and remove the special security given to Vadra. Charges framed against 10 individuals and 9 companies for money laundering in 2G case

New Delhi, Oct 31 (ANI): A special court on Friday framed charges against former Telecom Minister A Raja, MP Kanimozhi, DMK Supremo M Karunanidhi's wife Dayalu Ammal and others for money laundering in a 2G scam-related case. All accused have pleaded not guilty. ED had chargesheeted 19 accused - 10 individuals and nine companies - in the case saying that the transaction of Rs 200 crore, which was allegedly paid to DMK-run Kalaignar TV, was "not genuine" and it was a "bribe for grant of telecom licences to DB Group companies". The accused had countered the claims of the ED contending there was no evidence to support the allegations levelled by the agency in its charge sheet. Oct 31, 2014

New Delhi/ Chennai, Oct 30 (ANI): Politicos on Thursday urged the Indian government to take quick action after a Sri Lankan court awarded death penalty to five Tamil fishermen. The fishermen have been given death penalty for drug smuggling reportedly. Earlier in the day, MEA spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin had stated that the Indian government feels the fishermen are innocent and a legal process will be followed by the Indian government through the Indian High Commission in Sri Lanka to appeal against this judgement.
