New Delhi, Feb 26 (ANI): Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu on Thursday said that Rail Budget 2015-2016 aims to better the railway system in the country and not to appease other political parties. He said that a strong and efficient railway can lead to growth of the nation and not vice versa. He said this while addressing mediapersons after presenting the budget in Parliament. Prabhu said that the budget has kept in mind various expectations of the common man and can be a termed as a common man budget. He also said that the NDA government being a government of farmers has special provisions for them too in the rail budget. The railway minister further said that the money for different projects mentioned in the budget will come from extra budgetary sources and that the government is talking to World Bank, Asian Development Bank, etc. over the same. BJP to hold parliamentary meet over Land Acquisition Ordinance

New Delhi, Feb 24 (ANI): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will hold a parliamentary board meeting for the second time on Tuesday (February 24) over the land acquisition ordinance. The first meeting earlier in the day, before the parliament session began, was chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the presence of veteran BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani.
