Denmark tops the world’s happiest countries list

Denmark overtook Switzerland as the happiest place, according to a report on 16 March, and urged nations regardless of wealth to tackle inequality, protect the environment and keep their countrys social fabric from tearing apart. The 65-page report, prepared by the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) and the Earth Institute at Columbia University, showed that Syria, Afghanistan and eight sub-Saharan countries were rated the 10 least happy places on earth to live. Donald Trump says Iraq is ‘Harvard University for terrorists’

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump hunted for votes in three states on 14 March, ahead of a crucial round of nominating contests, and dismissed outbreaks of violence at his campaign events as a little disruption. The businessman also told supporters what he saw as the failures of the US-led coalition in Iraq and the fight against Islamic State (Isis).
