Pak envoy's invitation to Kashmir separatist leaders irks Indian leaders

New Delhi/Nagpur /Leh, Aug 18 (ANI): The Indian government as well as Muslim clerics on Monday reacted sharply to Pakistan High Commissioner Abdul Basit's invitation to Kashmiri separatist leaders for talks in New Delhi. The controversy comes ahead of India-Pakistan secretary-level talks scheduled to be held on August 25 in Islamabad. The talks between separatist leaders and Basit will take place on August 18-19. Criticizing the move by Basit, junior minister in Prime Minister's Office (PMO), Jitendra Singh, called the event unfortunate, especially as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is putting in efforts for better relations between the two countries. RSS leader Virag Pachpore resonated Singh's views. Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi condemned the invite by Pakistan and blamed Modi for being a mute spectator to Pakistan's activities. Meanwhile, a Muslim cleric, Mufti Mukkaram, said the talks should not be halted due to any reason and both the countries should work towards maintaining good relations.

Talking software JAWS help visually impaired students become computer savvy in Kanpur

Kanpur, Aug 18 (ANI): A school in Kanpur city of Uttar Pradesh has taken the initiative to teach computers to visually challenged students through talking software, which can help them become computer savvy. Software called JAWS (Job Access with Speech) is a computer screen reader programme that allows visually-impaired people to read the screen with the help of text-to-speech output. The students of ‘Kanpur Anddh Vidyalaya Junior High School’ are excited to use the software that enables them to cross the barriers imposed upon them by nature. The school currently has more than 80 visually-challenged students who are learning computers and can opt for either English or Hindi language.

Rabhasa - An Independence Day Treat For NTR Fans

Junior NTR Rabhasa, which is one of the most awaited movie of 2014 is all set to release to hit the screens on Independence Day, August 15. Bellamkonda Suresh, producer of the film is planning to release its audio on August 1, promises that the film will be a treat for Nandamuri's fans. He says "We have locked the release date as Aug 15.
