Jaipur, Jan 16 (ANI): Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu inaugurated the CII Partnership Summit which was jointly organized by Government of India and Government of Rajasthan in Jaipur. Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Nirmala Sitharaman and Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje addressed the delegates during the inaugural ceremony. In her address, Raje said that the competition should be in performance and in participation and the relationship between industry and governments now needs to be synergic, each complementing the other, for that alone is the way forward. Bhutan PM Tobgay visits Buddhist pilgrimage centre Sarnath in Uttar Pradesh

Sarnath, Jan 16 (ANI): Bhutan Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay visited the Buddhist pilgrimage centre Sarnath in Uttar Pradesh on Friday. Tobgay visited Sarnath Archaeological Museum, which houses the findings and excavations at the archaeological site of Sarnath. The main attraction of the museum is Ashoka pillar which is the national emblem of India. Sarnath, located at about 10 km from Varanasi, is the place where Buddha chose to deliver his first sermon. Tobgay is on a nine-day official visit to India at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's invitation. He had also participated in 'Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors Summit' in Gandhinagar on Sunday. New Delhi, Jan 13 (ANI): Union Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj discussed issues related to militancy and UN Security Council with United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, said foreign ministry spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin. Ban, who is in India on a three-day visit, was the keynote speaker and the guest of honour at the investment summit, Vibrant Gujarat, in Prime Minister Narendra Modis home state of Gujarat.
