Mixed reactions flow as China intrudes in India again

New Delhi, July 28 (ANI): A fresh incursion by the Chinese has been reported in the Demchok area of Ladakh in Jammu and Kashmir. Political leaders on Monday reacted as China intruded in the Indian territory once again. BJP leader Subramanian Swamy said that incursions keep happening from both sides but what is important is the trouble which the locals have to face. Congress leader Manish Tewari said that such incursions are condemnable and government should take action. RJD leader Manoj Jha stated that BJP used to make fake promises about keeping our borders secure. Teary-eyed families bid adieu to IAF officers killed in helicopter crash in Sitapur

Bareilly, July 27 (ANI): Sombre yet proud families of personnel, who died in an Indian Air Force helicopter crash, paid their last tribute to their loved ones. Seven persons, including two pilots were killed when an Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) of the Indian Air Force (IAF) crashed on Friday (July 25) in Sitapur district of Uttar Pradesh. IAF officials, including Air Chief Arup Raha, and kin of the deceased gathered in Bareilly to present guard of honour and to pay last rites to three of the killed officials, Bhagat Singh, P Mukherjee and Manoj Yadav. New Delhi, July 27 (ANI): The alliance of RJD, JD (U) and the Congress to contest the by-elections in 10 assembly constituencies of Bihar has resulted in mixed reactions by political leaders of different parties. Congress leader Rashid Alvi said that the alliance was a good step forward and would lead to the defeat of BJP in the state. RJD leader Manoj Jha stated that they have set a good example by looking over individual differences and forming an alliance, not only for their own benefit but for the benefit of Bihar. On the other hand, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi from the BJP slammed the alliance sarcastically saying that RJD and JD (U) had come up as a force against Congress but now it would be interesting to see for how long such an alliance is able to function. Moradabad, July 22 (ANI): Incessant rains have caused floods in Moradabad district of Uttar Pradesh, drowning nearby villages. Last week also, after the district experienced rainfall for hours, around 25 villages were submerged in the flood waters. While cooking food on a rooftop, a resident, Sushma, said on Tuesday this is the only place in her house where the water has not reached yet. An officer of Central Water Commission, Manoj Kumar, said flood danger further persists as the water level of Ramgana river, which flows through the city, is five centimeters below danger level but is likely to go up.
