New Delhi, July 30 (ANI): The Supreme Court on Wednesday gave a ruling that Supertech Builders should fulfill their commitment to the buyers and refund their invested money. The Court also asked Supertech to allot another flat to allottees who did not want to get a refund. The Allahabad High Court in April ordered the demolition of two 40-storey towers of real estate firm Supertech for illegal construction. Jayalalithaa visits Chennai building collapse site, says building plans not adhered by builders

Chennai, June 29 (ANI): Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa on Sunday visited the Chennai under construction building which collapsed Saturday evening following rain. Jayalalithaa said that it appears that the building plans were not adhered to by the builders. Further, she also said that its too early to come to any conclusion but most probably it's a structural defect. Campa Cola Society's residents refuse to budge, to continue silent protest against eviction

Mumbai, June 21 (ANI): Residents of unauthorised Campa Cola Housing Society in Mumbai refused to budge on Saturday saying they would continue their silent protest against demolition drive. Residents protested against Mumbai's civic body, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), who had arrived at gates of the society for eviction. Distraught residents refused to vacate their homes and were willing to go to jail to prevent the BMC from razing down their houses. New Delhi/ Mumbai/ Nagpur, June 20 (ANI): In the row of Campa Cola society crisis in Mumbai, BJP leaders condemned the ruling Congress-NCP government in the state for not taking appropriate steps. BJP leader Kirit Somaiya said that the government made laws to save the builders but did not do anything for the welfare of middle class people. BJP's Devendra Fadnavis said that Supreme Court's order had been misinterpreted but the state government could take quick action to save its people. BJP's Shaina NC said that action should be taken against the BMC officials and builders who executed the illegal building task not against the innocent residents.
