Police arrest 8 PLFI Maoists in Jharkhand

Palamu, Dec 06 (ANI): Eight Maoists of People's Liberation Front of India (PLFI) were arrested by police in Jharkhand. Police also recovered arms and ammunitions from their possession in the Palamu district. The arrested Maoists include Laxman Yadav, who is said to be the zonal commander of PLFI. Jharkhand, Nov 6 (ANI): In two separate incidents in Jharkhand, police recovered 22 bombs and arrested a Maoist leader. Acting on a tip off in Latehar district of Jharkhand, the police managed to defuse the bombs, which were apparently planted to attack the security forces. Meanwhile, in Palamu district of Jharkhand, police nabbed a Maoist leader, who is believed to have been associated with several attacks by the rebels in the region.
