Parents and relatives of the stranded Indian nationals on Wednesday visited Sikh shrine in Amritsar and prayed for their release. Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) fighters who aim to build a Muslim caliphate across the Iraqi-Syrian frontier launched their revolt by seizing Mosul and swept through the Tigris valley towards Baghdad. Politicos condemn violent clashes in Golden Temple on operation Blue Star anniversary

Amritsar /New Delhi, June 06 (ANI): Politicos on Friday condemned the violent clashes that erupted between Sikh groups in the premises of Golden Temple, on the 30th anniversary of Operation Blue Star. Clashes took place when members of the Shiromani Akali Dal-controlled SGPC protested against leader of Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar), Simranjit Singh Mann, who made an attempt to give a speech from rostrum of the Sikh's supreme temporal seat, Akal Takht. Reportedly, one of Mann's supporters tried to snatch the microphone from the custodian of the Akal Takht, Giani Gurbachan Singh, in a bid to address devotees. New Delhi, June 06 (ANI): The spokesperson of SAD, Prem Singh Chandumajra on Friday expressed grief over the Sikh clash in Amritsar between two groups which took place earlier in the day. Chandumajra stated that on the 30th anniversary of Operation Bluestar, it is sad to again witness clashes within Sikhs and added that the offenders will be punished. He also added that every small incident is given priority in the Parliament but complained that the innocent victims of 1984 massacre were not given tribute in the Parliament which should have been done. Amritsar, June 06 (ANI): Violent clashes broke out in the premises of Golden Temple in Amritsar on Friday between members of SGPC and a Sikh radical group, injuring at least 12 people. Accoding to reports, some mediapersons were also assaulted and their cameras were broken too during the clashes. Violence erupted in Golden Temple after various groups protested Simranjit Singh Mann's attempt to give a speech from Rostrum of Akal Takht. New Delhi, Amy 29 (ANI): Politicos react as Food Processing Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal said that Shiromani Akali Dal will get the Nanavati Commission report on the 1984 anti-Sikh riots implemented.
