The death of legendary actor James Garner at the age of 86 has prompted an outpouring of tributes from Hollywood. Ron Howard, William Shatner and Kaley Cuoco Sweeting were among those paying their respects on Twitter. James rose to fame on the 1950’s TV show “Maverick” and enjoyed success in 1970’s on “The Rockford Files”. More recently he appeared on “8 Simple Rules” and played an older Ryan Gosling in “The Notebook”. Back in 2005, James reflected on his long career when he was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Screen Actors Guild. In other sad news, child actor Skye McCole Bartusiak was found dead at the age of 21. According to reports she suffered a series of epileptic seizures in the week before her death. Skye worked alongside Mel Gibson in “The Patriot” and various TV shows including “24”.
