Chris Wheeler, the headmaster of Monkton, surprised pupils and parents alike when he broke into song part way through his speech. Channelling his inner Jean Valjean, Mr Wheeler began singing One More Day from Les Misérables, before other teachers popped up from around the room to sing different parts of the song.
