Mumbai, Dec 14 (ANI): At least 6 people are feared dead while 25 others have been rescued in a major fire that broke out in the 26-storey Mont Blanc building, an elite residential high-rise in South Mumbai. Fire broke out on the 12th floor of the high-rise residential building on Friday causing damage to the property but there were no immediate reports of casualties. The fire fighters rushed to the site and struggled to douse the flames atop the building. Dhaka, Dec 07 (ANI): People of Bangladesh, including the freedom fighters of the Bangladesh Liberation War, protested against poll-related violence in the country. At least 25 people were killed across the country during nationwide protests called by opposition parties over setting up of a caretaker government during January polls. A veteran freedom fighter, Ali Ahmed Ziauddin, blamed both the main political parties - the opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and ruling Awami League - for the bloodshed in the country. President of the Communist Party of Bangladesh, Mujahidul Islam Selim, urged people to fight against the darkness prevailing in the country.
