Jammu and Kashmir, June 04 (ANI): The Indian army foiled an infiltration attempt by militants along the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi_s maiden visit to the state. Commander of the White Knight Corps (16 Corps), Lieutenant General KH Singh said that ceasefire violations and infiltration bids are common before high profile visits to Jammu and Kashmir so that attention is brought to the Kashmir issue. Residents of the Poonch district said the firing began and that the villagers were in terror throughout. PM Modi is to visit the state to flag off a special train to Vaishno Devi. JuD blacklisted: Praful Bakshi says US rethinking on Pakistan

New Delhi, June 26 (ANI): Commenting on the United States' move to include Jamaat-ud-Dawa in its list of terrorist organizations, Praful Bakshi, Wing Commander (Retd) Indian Air Force, on Thursday said that this move implies that the US is rethinking on Pakistan and has, therefore, approached India to help it. He said that JuD was involved in terror attacks in Herat, Bombay and Karachi airport, and added that this group is getting arms and money from their sympathizers in other countries. Border Guard Bangladesh top official denies any militant camp inside country

Siliguri, June 26 (ANI): The Additional Director General, Region Commander, Rangpur, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) north- western zone Mohammed Latiful Haider has firmly said that not a single militant camp is based inside the country. He added that, Bangladesh does not allow any camps in their territory, because they understand these kind of things are harmful for cordial relations between India and Bangladesh. Haider said this during a meeting with Border Security Force (BSF) officers at Kadamtala BSF Frontier head-quarter near Siliguri under Darjeeling district of West Bengal. Meanwhile, Inspector General (IG), South Bengal Frontier Head-Quarter, India's Paramilitary, Border Security Force (BSF) Rajni Kant Mishra, said that both the forces agree to maintain the sanctity of International border and with mutual cooperation including infiltration.
