New Delhi/ Mumbai, Feb 10 (ANI): Politicos extended their wishes Arvind Kejriwal led Aam Aadmi Party after the party swept the Delhi assembly polls routing the Bhartiya Janta Party and Congress. BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad congratulated the AAP and hope AAP would work for the development of Delhi. Congress leader Manish Tewari said that the people of Delhi wanted to teach BJP a lesson for their arrogance and hence they voted for AAP. Uma Bharati bats for better flood management in northeast

Guwahati, Feb 07 (ANI): Water Resources Minister Uma Bharati said that better flood management system would be brought into place in Assam which suffers huge losses due to floods every year. Assam, comprising of the Brahmaputra Valley and the Barack river valleys, is prone to natural disasters with annual floods and frequent mild earthquakes. Speaking at the third Assam Water Resource Conference in Guwahati, Bharati called for judicial usage of available water resources for the development of the state. The two-day conference was inaugurated by Bharati along with Minister of State in Prime Minister's Office (PMO), Dr Jitendra and Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi. Mayawati demands CBI investigation over dead bodies in Ganges

Lucknow, Jan 15 (ANI): Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati on Thursday demanded a CBI investigation over the incident of dead bodies being found in the River Ganges in Unnao district of Uttar Pradesh. She further stated that the Samajwadi Party had failed to maintain the law and order situation in the state. The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo also launched her book 'A Travelogue of My Struggle-ridden Life and BSP Movement' to mark her 55th Birthday. Over a hundred bodies were recovered from the river Ganges in Uttar Pradesh's Unnao district, earlier on Wednesday.
