One them is Sain Sai Baba of Poonch district. Sai Baba throughout his life spread Sufism in the area by spreading the message of communal harmony and amity among people. The Urs celebrated here not only witnesses the devotees who preach his teaching but also follows them with utmost devotion. Wagah border attack a serious internal security challenge, could have been on Indian side too: Secur

New Delhi, Nov 03 (ANI): Security Expert Uday Bhaskar on Monday termed the suicide attack at Pakistan side of Wagah border as a serious internal security challenge for India. He said the fact that assailants can reach at such sensitive area says that proper vigil and increase in arrangements for security is required on both sides. He also pointed out at the possibility of India too being on the radar of such attacks. Bhaskar said that India would have to acquire the capacity for surveillance on both side of the border after the incident. At least 55 people lost their lives and several were left injured when an explosion took place on Pakistan side of Wagah border just after a daily ceremony when troops from both sides simultaneously lower the two nations' flags. BSF guns down smugglers, recovers 22 kilograms of heroin in Punjab

Amritsar, Nov 03 (ANI): India's paramilitary Border Security Force (BSF) troopers gunned down smugglers and recovered 22 kilograms of heroin worth 1.1 billion rupees along the Indo-Pak border in Punjab. Giving details of the incident, BSF Inspector General Ashok Kumar said that one smuggler was shot dead while two of his accomplices were injured and 22 kg of heroin was seized from them at Dera Baba Nanak sector in Gurdaspur district. He added that the operation was launched on the basis of intelligence inputs, following which the patrolling party of 38 Battalion in Gurdaspur observed some suspicious movement in the area of Bohar Wadala border outpost. The patrolling party opened fire in retaliation as the smugglers, who were trying to cross over to the Pakistan side, challenged them. Three smugglers Tasveer Singh, Balwinder Singh and Fateh Singh , all residents of Kalanaur town in Haryana, received injuries. Nov 3, 2014
