Migrants return to Iraq after difficult process in Germany

Some Iraqi migrants, fed up with the long asylum application process, far-right violence and paltry conditions at temporary shelters in Germany, returned back to Iraq on 27 January. Isis: Israel accuses Turkey of funding Daesh for oil

Israels defence minister Moshe Yaalon said on 26 January that Islamic State (Isis) militants had been funded with “Turkish money”, an assertion that could hinder attempts to mend fences between the two countries after years of estrangement.
