GRAVESEND, ENGLAND The death of Peaches Geldof has been officially ruled as a drug overdose according to the coroner’s report. Her husband Thomas Cohen was seen leaving the inquest in Gravesend, not far from where the couple lived with their two young sons. He told the court that the 25-year-old TV presenter had been taking methadone for the past two years to kick her addiction to heroin but starting using again recently. Fatal levels of the drug were found in her system along with traces of codeine and morphine. Peaches’ mother Paula Yates suffered a similar fate in 2000 when she too died of a heroin overdose at the age of 41.
