Brendan Cox, the husband of murdered MP Jo Cox, has said he feels pity for her killer Thomas Mair. The Labour MP was stabbed and shot in her Batley and Spen constituency on 16 June, one week ahead of the EU referendum. Exclusive IBTimesUK Footage from Bamenda, Cameroon, appears to show the continued protests against disenfranchisement and failures to introduce self-determination measures. Security forces are seen firing automatic rifles into the air in an apparent attempt to disperse demonstrators whilst people flee screaming and in panic. Protests started in October, when a group of English-speaking lawyers took to the streets to protest against the use of French in courts and the lack of English versions of some legal acts and codes.
