Indian nurses in Iraq safe, MEA doing its best: Oommen Chandy

New Delhi, July 03 (ANI): Talking about nurses stranded in violence hit Iraq, Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said that Indian nurses are safe and that administration and Ministry of External Affairs are doing its best in rescuing them. He also said that the exact location of the nurses is not known right now and the administration is doing its best in every way. Meanwhile, Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala said that all diplomatic channels are open in the case.

Sprinter Dutee Chand returns home after winning gold medals in Asian Junior Athletics Championship

Bhubaneswar, June 18 (ANI): Sprinter Dutee Chand received rousing welcome at the Odisha airport after winning two gold medals in Asian Junior Athletics Championship held in China. Chand bagged medals in 200 metre race and 4X400 relay events, which concluded in Taipei city on June 15. The 18-year-old gold medallist coached by N. Ramesh, won women 200 metres with a time of 23.74 metres. Chand is the current national champion in Women's 100 metres track and field event.
