India and Mexico sign bilateral agreement on space cooperation

New Delhi, Oct 23 (ANI): India and Mexico signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on space cooperation. The two countries will work together in remote sensing, satellite communication and areas relating to peaceful use of outer space. Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj had met her Mexican counterpart Jose Antonio Meade Kuribrena, who is on a four-day visit, in New Delhi. Kuribrena emphasized that Mexico's relationship with India among the G20 nations was very close as his country was an important part of India's value-chain in the manufacturing sector. Swaraj reiterated Kuribrena's sentiment and said that the relations between New Delhi and Mexico City had immense potential to grow as Mexico was India's leading trade partner in Latin America. Sushma Swaraj meets Mexico's Foreign Minister

New Delhi, Oct 22 (ANI): External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj met her visiting Mexican counterpart Jose Antonio Meade Kuribrena, at Jawaharlal Nehru Bhavan in New Delhi on Wednesday. The two leaders shook hands and exchanged pleasantries before they headed for Joint Commission meeting pertaining to mutual interest of both countries. The two countries are also expected to sign bilateral agreements/Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) following the meeting. On Tuesday, Kuribrena also met National Security Advisor Ajit Doval to discuss issues of bilateral interest. Mexico is India's leading trade partner in Latin America. Oct 22, 2014
