New Delhi, Jan 30 (ANI): After government raised the quota of subsidised LPG to 12 cylinders per household in a year from nine, politicos questioned the requirement of such an amendment at a time when 2014 general elections are approaching. JD (U) leader KC Tyagi condemned the decision and said that this comes as a preparation for the polls. He said that the bill, as it is a sensitive issue, was sent for the comments and not for votes. New Delhi, Jan 24 (ANI): The Supreme Court on Friday issued a notice to the central government and the Delhi government on a PIL seeking action against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for violating the law while holding a constitutional position. The notice comes in response to a public interest litigation (PIL) filed by advocate ML Sharma which had questioned if a person holding a constitutional authority can sit on a dharna which is an unlawful act.
