Syrian White Helmets rescue workers show devastation of strike on UN aid convoy

The Syrian Civil Defense responded to an inter-agency aid convoy, operated by the United Nations and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, that was destroyed by an air strike in Aleppo on 19 September. The Syrian Civil Defense claim it was a regime helicopter that dropped four barrel bombs on the convoy that was filled with medicine, food and nappies for civilians. Police in Moscow have detained a robot at a rally. Valery Kalachev, a candidate for the Russian parliament, had rented the robot for the rally.The arrest was supposedly made because the robot recorded voters’ opinions. This might not have been authorized. Sep 17, 2016

Bali tourist boat explosion kills at least one and injures 13

One person died and at least 13 were injured when a tourist boat exploded shortly after it set sail off the coast of Bali, Indonesia. The boat carrying around 35 passengers, including British citizens, was travelling to the Gili Islands. The dead person is thought to be German. It is unclear what caused the explosion but officials have been quick to rule out a bomb. Sep 15, 2016
