New Delhi, March 02 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi called upon the IT industry to focus on meeting the global challenge of cyber-security. Stating that the entire world is concerned about this issue, the Prime Minister said country's IT professionals could do a lot for cyber-safety of digital assets across the world. Modi was addressing a gathering on the 25th anniversary celebrations of National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) in New Delhi. He said there is immense potential for India's information technology sector to innovate and provide mobile applications to deliver citizen centric services and mobile governance. Gautam Senegal, a budding entrepreneur forays into India's booming IT industry

New Delhi, Feb 11 (ANI): Gautam Senegal, a Chandigarh-based entrepreneur owns Telesole Technologies Private Limited, an IT company, which provides various mobile, web and animation services. Established in 2014, the company has already outsourced 36 mobile applications, 24 web portals and 1 animation projects from 11 different countries across the world. The company has manufactured many products especially for kids like the recently launched 'Airi Devices', a purely safety tool for young kids and elders who might not be able to handle smart phones but need to be in touch with each other. The company also organized some workshops to impart animation skills to children. As per NASSCOM, the Indian IT outsourcing sector will witness growth of 13-15% in the fiscal year 2015. Feb 11, 2015

Nasscom launches third phase of startup initiative mission

Bangalore, July 01 (ANI): The National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) invited applications from startups as it commenced the third phase of its 10,000 start-ups initiative across the country. The 10,000 startups initiative, which is a national database of startups and identifies the areas of their operations, is a one-stop platform for all fresh entrepreneurs. Addressing a news conference in Bangalore Senior Director, NASSCOM 10,000 Startups initiative, Rajat Tandon said in first two phases at least 529 people were impacted. The association had earlier sent a 30-member representative delegation of software products and solutions to the Silicon Valley in the US for providing a global platform for young entrepreneurs.
