New Delhi, Dec 22 (ANI): Opposition parties, including the Trinamool Congress, Samajwadi Party and the Rashtriya Janata Dal staged a protest against the government outside the Parliament on Monday over the black money issue. Meanwhile, the TMC also staged a separate protest against Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in front of Mahatma Gandhi's statue in the Parliament. Earlier today, the Janata Parivar staged a protest against the government at Jantar Mantar over issues of Black money, unemployment, farmer issues and communal tensions in the country. Dec 22, 2014

Norway to take up 'Clean India' campaign in Varanasi

Varanasi, Dec 14 (ANI): Norway's ambassador to India, Eivind S Homme, met mayor of Varanasi Ram Gopal Mohale to take forward Prime Minister Narendra Modi's cleanliness campaign in the temple town. He added that the river which flows through five states cannot be made filth-free unless the cleanliness drive is taken seriously in all of them. Opposition jointly proposes to pass resolution over derogatory remarks by leaders

New Delhi, Dec 08 (ANI): The Opposition parties have jointly prepared a resolution to be passed by the government in Rajya Sabha. Congress leader Anand Sharma said that the Opposition parties have given various chances to the government to resolve the issue of derogatory remark made by Union Minister Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti. SP leader Ram Gopal Yadav said that if the government does not agree to pass a simple resolution which applies to all leaders, then it is itself responsible for the disruption of Parliament.
