Resolution on Indo-Pak talks passed in Jammu and Kashmir Assembly

Srinagar, Aug 28 (ANI): The Jammu and Kashmir Assembly on Thursday passed a resolution on Indo-Pak talks which urges the Central government to resume its talks with the neighbouring nation. The resolution passed unanimously by the Legislative Council via a voice vote says the state government must urge the union government to resume Indo-Pak dialogue to maintain peace in region, especially in Jammu and Kashmir. National Conference leader Devender Singh Rana said that the resolution has been passed unanimously and urges government to take effective steps to resolve violations on LoC, besides taking steps to ensure rehabilitation of victims of LoC firing. Family performs last rites of martyr Dhananjay Kumar in Bihar

Maner, Aug 27 (ANI): The last rites of Martyr Lance Naik Dhananjay Kumar took place at his hometown in Maner district of Bihar with full respect on Wednesday. Kumar was killed in an encounter with militants in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir and his body reached Patna late on Tuesday. Mourning on his death, his father said that he is not grieved on his son's death and that Kumar was son of Mother India. He also appeled the central government to take revenge from Pakistan. Rajnath Singh takes aerial survey of flood affected areas in UP

Uttar Pradesh, Aug 22 (ANI): Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday took an aerial survey of the flood affected areas in Uttar Pradesh. Singh said that some areas have been deeply affected by the floods and rescue operations are going on, though in a non-satisfactory manner.
