Ungli stars Emraan Hashmi, Kangana Ranaut, Sanjay Dutt, Randeep Hooda, Angad Bedi and Neil Bhoopalam in the lead. Talking about the 'Ungli' gang the lead actor Emraan Hashmi said. Government carries out search and rescue training in Nainital

Nainital, Nov 21 (ANI): The disaster management department in Uttarakhand trained firemen for search and rescue operations recently. The state witnessed one of the worst disasters last year. The training is being provided by the disaster management department of Uttarakhand state government. The instructor, Sunil Vaidh, said the firemen were being trained in carrying out search and rescue operations in the case of any untoward incident. Vaidh added about 2000 government officials have been trained till now and further such training programmes would carry on. A trainee fireman, Bhairav Dutt, was happy to learn the techniques. PSU bank employees go on nationwide strike over wage revision demand

Bhopal/ Kanpur/ Lucknow/ New Delhi, Nov 12 (ANI): Public sector banks across India called for a day long nationwide strike on Wednesday demanding the long pending increment in the employees' wages. The strike has been called under the banner of an umbrella organisation of banks, United Forum of Bank Union. According to the media reports, much against the 23 per cent wage hike demand by the bank employees, Indian Banks' Association offered an increment of 11 per cent, which led unions to call for a strike. The protesters in New Delhi assembled outside various banks and shouted slogans demanding a revision in their salaries. Expressing resentment, an employee of National Organisation of Bank Workers, Ashwini, said around nine bank unions, 800,000 bank employees and more than 50,000 branches are on strike. The employees have been awaiting their salary revision since November 2012 but are yet to hear an official announcement from the government. Meanwhile in Kanpur city, bank union leader Pradeep Vajpayee said the conditions in which bank employees work are deteriorating. Nov 12, 2014

Paramilitary holds shooting contest to test marksmanship of personnel

Kadarpur, Nov 11 (ANI): India's paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force organised a shooting competition to test the marksmanship of its personnel and to inculcate an atmosphere of sportsmanship and healthy competition. Around 766 police personnel from across the country participated in this annual shooting competition held in Kadarpur village in Haryana. This year, a total of 31 teams from 24 states took part. Speaking on the event, Director General of India's paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Pranay Sahay, told mediapersons that it is a useful platform for police personnel. Olympic medalist, boxer Yogeshwar Dutt, personnel of Haryana police received the Padma Shri, fourth highest civilian award of India, while female boxer, Mary Kom, working with Manipur police received the third highest civilian award, Padma Bhushan for their stellar performances in the games.
