New Delhi, Jan 21 (ANI): Home Affairs Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday said that security was beefed up across the country ahead of US President Barack Obama's visit to New Delhi for Republic Day celebrations. The central government has placed multi-tier security set up for the high profile visit. Obama will arrive in New Delhi on January 25 to take part in Republic Day celebrations on the invitation of Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. UP seeks paramilitary forces for Obama's Taj visit

Lucknow/ Agra, Jan 21 (ANI): The northern state of Uttar Pradesh is taking measures to step up vigil ahead of US President Barack Obama's visit to the Taj Mahal later this month. The state has asked for 10 companies of paramilitary forces from the Central government in view of the multi-tier security set up for the high profile visit. Border security stepped up ahead of US President Obama's visit to India for Republic Day celebration

Inspector General (IG) of India's paramilitary Border Security Force (BSF), Rakesh Sharma said the force was alert to face any challenge. PM Modi meets German finance minister to boost bilateral ties

New Delhi, Jan 20 (ANI): Prime Minster Narendra Modi met German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schuble, who is on a two-day India visit, to enhance bilateral economic relations.
