New Delhi, Oct 26 (ANI): Indian-owned Formula One side Force India will reportedly pay tribute to retiring batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar through their cars during Sunday's Indian Grand Prix. Force India said that it would have the words 'masterblaster' inscribed on the nose of its cars as the team also 'aims to be a big hitter in the world of sport' like the Little Master. Tendulkar, who made his debut in 1989 at the age of 16, announced that he plans to retire from international cricket after playing a record 200th Test against West Indies on his home ground in Mumbai next month. The traditions associated with this festival are that the women wake up before dawn to begin a fast from sunrise, until the moon is sighted at night, when they will dress up as brides in all their finery to pray for the longevity of their husbands. The worshiping women are bedecked in jewelry and have henna on their hands while gearing up to observe the Hindu festival, Karva Chauth. In the national capital, Sushma Swaraj, a veteran parliamentarian and senior leader of India's main opposition, Bharatiya Janata Party as in earlier years, hosted a collective Karva Chaut ceremony on the lawns of her official residence. The origin of the festival is shrouded in mystery, but one tale tells of a queen being duped by her brothers into breaking her fast before moonrise, leading to the king's immediate death. Manipur, Oct 24 (ANI): The 4X4 Overland Expedition car rally reached its second-last stop, which is India's northeastern state of Manipur, on Tuesday and will leave for Myanmar. A total of 54 car rallyists, which includes 17 women hailing from Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore and India, participated in the car rally. A participants of the rally, Lam, was excited at the prospect of being able to drive to India and experience the wonders of this land. The rally aims in making a good relationship among the South Asian countries, which could bring in prospects of trade among them in the future. The rally started from Singapore on 18 vehicles and covered Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Shangrila, Zuozang, Lhasa, Zhang Moi, Nepal, Bhutan.
