Relatives of likely Bharat Ratna awardees react on speculations over same

Allahabad/ Raipur/ Rourkela/ Kolkata, Aug 11 (ANI): The government ordered five medallions, bringing names of freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee to the forefront to receive this year's Bharat Ratna awards. Another noted name in the Indian freedom movement, Madan Mohan Malviya is also rumoured to be one of the five persons to be honoured. Relatives of the speculated nominees have expressed happiness over the buzz. Malviya's grand daughter-in-law, Saraswati Malviya thanked the Narendra Modi-led government and said that the award should have been bestowed earlier. New Delhi, Aug 10 (ANI): Political leaders react as reports of Freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Atal Bihari Vajpayee and BSP founder Kanshi Ram being conferred with the Bharat Ratna are doing rounds. It is being said that the announcement regarding the same may be made as early as Independence Day by the NDA government.
