And presenting a perfect example of this ethos is the mausoleums of Naqi Ali Shah and his son, Hazrat Ali Shah. Devotees irrespective of their caste visit both the mausoleum, as they believe that the saints preached communal harmony and brotherhood in their entire life. All devotees who visit the shrine participate equally in various activities here. The mausoleum is respected by one and all, as it is believed that all prayers and wishes are answered here. For centuries people have coexisted peacefully in this country and religion has never come in the way of good relations between different communities. A similar example is seen at the Shrine of Ejmail in Rajouri of Jammu and Kashmir, where devotees pay obeisance to saint and seek his blessings. Thronging the shrine in thousands, the devotees hold the day-and-night-long prayers to pay homage to the saint, besides asking for fulfillment of their wishes.
