Mumbai, Jan 23 (ANI): Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam on Thursday began an indefinite hunger strike over his demand for a reduction in power tariff in Mumbai. Nirupam demanded the Reliance to remove three surcharges on its bill which are absolutely useless and to loot the people. He said that he will continue his strike till death and challenged the Reliance on its inaction in the direction. A Mumbai-based Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for Children initiated the awareness drive for the prevention of cardiac diseases in infants and toddlers. Tendulkar said that he was moved by story of a girl who could not take necessary treatment due to lack of funds. In order to raise awareness about cardiac problems in children, a marathon will be held in Mumbai on February 09 from the iconic Siddhivinayak Temple in the city and will end at the hospital location.
