MEA highlights PM Modi's US visit schedule Part - 2

New Delhi, Sep 23 (ANI): Ministry of External Affairs on Tuesday highlighted the schedule of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the United States for enhancing bilateral relations. MEA Spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin stated that Prime Minister Modi will be meeting UN Secretary-General Ban Ki Moon before addressing United Nations' General Assembly Session. Akbaruddin said that Prime Minister will be meeting US President Barrack Obama and former President Bill Clinton during his visit. He also said that Modi will pay homage to the 9/11 memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Martin Luther King Memorial & Mahatma Gandhi's statue in Washington. MoU signed on Nalanda University between India and Bangladesh: MEA

New Delhi, Sep 20 (ANI): MEA Spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin on Saturday said that the meeting between Foreign Ministers of India and Bangladesh was productive and close relations were reflected between both the countries. He also said that an MoU was signed between India and Bangladesh over Nalanda University. He also said that both countries’ Prime Ministers will be meeting on margins of UN General Assembly meeting in New York. Responding to Bilawal Bhutto’s remark, Akbaruddin said that India is looking forward but that does not mean our borders will change. He also stated that India’s integrity and unity is non-negotiable. New Delhi, Sep 13 (ANI): Indian Jurist Fali Sam Nariman said that the minorities must be accommodated by majority as there cannot be two separate sets of principle rights for people. While delivering a lecture on 'Minorities at Cross Roads: Comments on Judicial Pronouncements' in New Delhi, Nariman slammed the politicians using Hindu religion as leverage to political gains.
