Present at the event was the author of the book 2 states Chetan Bhagat, along with producers Sajid Nadiadwala & Karan Johar, director Abhishek Varman actors Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. On the occasion overwhelmed Chetan Bhagat said that he was happy the way film has turned up. While lead actor Arjun Kapoor said that he is extremely grateful to be a part of the film. Based on Chetan Bhagat's novel of the same name, the film is a story of two IIM graduates who fall for each other. However, their cultural differences stand in the way.
