Acid attack perpetrators to be jailed for ten years, says Rajnath Singh

New Delhi, Feb 21 (ANI): Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday said that the government will punish acid attack perpetrators with ten years imprisonment. Singh said the acid attack victims faced the worst mental and physical repercussions of the attack. He added that two new sections have been added to the Criminal Law (Amendment) Act 2013 to classify the crime as "heinous". Nobel Laureate Kailash Satyarthi seeks new law to check child labour in India

New Delhi, Feb 17 (ANI): Nobel laureate and child rights activist, Kailash Satyarthi sought a new law to keep a check on child labour in India. Satyarthi estimated that 60 million children, or 6 percent of the country's population, are forced into work. This, he believes, has nothing to do with parental poverty, illiteracy or ignorance. New Delhi, Feb 08 (ANI): Constitutional experts on Sunday said that JD (U) leader Nitish Kumar or anybody cannot claim to form government in Bihar before Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi does not resign from his post. KTS Tulsi said that the government has come in minority and that the chief minister will have to resign for any development in the situation. DK Garg said that is the chief minister is in power, the governor will definitely have to pay heed to his recommendations.
